Frequently Asked Questions
1. Who and what is Nedlog? Founded in 1930, The Nedlog Company is a family-owned corporation. Nedlog operates under a license from the U.S. Department of Agriculture as a food processor. We are a customer-driven organization dedicated to providing unequalled and continuously improving quality in consumable products and services to the food industry as a means of achieving long-term profitable growth for high volume food service operations. 2. What does Nedlog do? Nedlog manufactures and markets carbonation-free fruit beverage products in gallons and bags-in-box in the most popular flavors. The product lines range from ready-to-consume artificially flavored drinks (for retail private label) to 100% juice products in concentrated form (for food service industries). Many of these lines contain fresh fruit and/or fruit juices. Nedlog also packs chilled single-serve ready-to-drink 100% juices in remarkable flexible plastic pouches. 3. What makes Nedlog products unique? The use of WHOLE FRESH FRUITS makes a more refreshing and thirst-quenching product. None of our competitors, to our best knowledge, use this process. Nedlog products contain naturally occurring vitamins and minerals, and are fortified with Vitamin C and calcium, important to good health. 4. What is unique about Nedlog dispensing equipment? We add a feature to standard visual display dispensers. It is our patented “proportioner” that automatically measures the right amount of beverage base and water into the dispenser. This eliminates hand filling and keeps the dispenser full, sanitarily. 5. Where does Nedlog stand in its industry and community? Compared to multi-nationals, we are small in size. But within the food service industry, Nedlog is considered to be mid-sized, widely recognized as an innovator. Known for our dedication to quality, we are proud to include among our customers some of the most respected and widely known corporations in the food service industry. We also take pride in having won the 1998 Illinois Family Business of the Year award, in the small business category, from among over 800 nominees, in a contest sponsored by Loyola University. 6. What are Nedlog's ordering policies? PROBLEMS: On the rare occasion that your order arrives damaged, or if you have any questions about it, please notify us within 24 hours of receipt. You must also note any damage with the carrier before you accept the package. |
